Please be advised that there have been several reported incidents of thefts from neighbourhood mailboxes in Fraser Heights. One resident observed a man, very relaxed in his approach but not wearing a mail carrier’s uniform, taking mail from one of the boxes. The individual is apparently using a master key. He is described as approximately 35 years old, dark haired, dark skinned and driving a red Toyota or Datsun (Nissan?) car.
The RCMP have been notified as has Canada Post. Last week the police took down a credit card/identify theft operation in Fleetwood that may or may not have been connected to the thefts in our neighbourhood.
Please be vigilant and if any suspicious activities are observed contact the police immediately.
