With the help of all its business and community sponsors, Fraser Wood Elementary is excited to announce the installation of its new playground this spring! Out of the four elementary schools in the Fraser Heights community, this will be the first\u00a0inclusive and accessible\u00a0playground<\/strong>! This\u00a0playground is\u00a0designed to\u00a0create a multi-faceted, sensory-rich play space where children of diverse abilities and aptitudes, ages and stages can enjoy outdoor play. With its uniquely designed zones, this playground is an action-packed structure with a variety of upper body and climbing activities, combined with a ground- level play area for the best of both worlds.\u00a0\u00a0With more than 500 students attending Fraser Wood, and a growing community of young families in the Fraser Heights area, there was a great need to expand the playground equipment on the school grounds.<\/p>\n
